To The "T"

All good things must come to an end at some point.
But it doesn't mean you can't start them over.

For me, spending time with one of my closest friends came to a halt last night after a week of dancing, sharing secrets like we were 12, drinking wine, and watching chick flicks. 

Today she is all packed up and ready to head home to California. 

Not many girl friends can pick up right where they left off every single time they see each other no matter if it's been two months in between or a year.  I'm lucky that we can.

Such a nice visit. I'm hoping to visit her soon!

In fact, I should probably make a blog entry with a list of my top favorites {note to self: blog entry on good quotes}. County Fair.

Yeehaw !!

The county fair is in session people.

Corn dogs, Elephant Ears, Cows, Lemon Shake Ups, Concerts, Rides, Gold Fish, Cotton Candy.

I came to the conclusion that if I were to ever go blind I would still want someone to take me to a county fair. The sounds and smells alone would bring me such joy. Everyone just seems so happy there!

Weekends to Work Weeks

Weekends in summertime fly by. Wait, I take that back... weekends fly by far too fast any time of the year! It's just that I tend to do more on a summer weekend versus a winter weekend. Sitting outside on a patio enjoying a glass of wine, laying out near a pool with friends, and flea market shopping is what this past weekend had in store for me. 

Can you believe it is already August? Where did this summer go? I even had a nice long three month vacation for myself and it still seemed to slip through my hands.
